Small plants found on M. Catria in open beechwoods at an altitude between 1100 and 1300m seem to belong to this species; flowers during the second half of July and the beginning of August.

The presence of the nominate species in the Region needs confirmation.

This seems to be the first record of the subspecies. It is in need of further research in the Marche.
